Skirvin Hotel - Real Oklahoma City Haunt

  • 1 Park Ave.
  • Oklahoma City, OK
The Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City dates back to the early 1900s and is known to be one of the most haunted hotels in the city. There have been several eerie occurrences reported at the hotel, including the sounds of crying babies and objects that move on their own. The 10th floor of the hotel is said to be where the most activity occurrs. Legend says the original owner had an affair with a maid who became pregnant. When he found out about the pregnancy he locked her in a room on the 10th floor, killing her and their unborn child. Many say that the woman is the one who haunts the hotel to this day, never leaving the place where her and her unborn child were killed.

me and my bestie nicole stayed there for a week and the first night we heard scrathces and didnt think much of it so the second night was kind of scary our stuff kept moving around and the third night and fourth nights were pretty normal just light flickering and stuff and the fifth week we heard screams and so we just went home then nicole had to use the bathroom and 10 minutes later she is still gone i go to look for her and she was no where to be found, i asked the workers if theyve seen her go into the bathroom but they said no one went inside, i decided to just go home. nicole is still missing to this day.

  • ONE OF THE MOST HAUNTED AND DON'T NEED THE FAKE STORIES

I stayed and our bathroom sink kept turning on, and returning to our room after going out our door refused to let us in. I had done research before the stay on the Skirvin family, and the hotel. There's no way Skirvin locked a woman up, he was a womanizer until the day he died (He came on to his nurse right before his death). There's NO proof with the whole Effie, baby, suicide "A drunk woman came close to falling from her room", this story is not needed for reason why it may be haunted "personally the actual written proof is enough to cover it". Such as several real suicides (More than a few), possible murders, shootouts, a gruesome accident, construction accidents, natural deaths (A old governor was one), and since Skirvin's accident was right in front of his hotel "Skirvin himself, possibly trying to clear his name is part of the reason he stays". I got proof it was haunted, but my research already made that clear.
