An elderly Native American man's apparition has been spotted at night wandering the grounds of this university. Legends also say that the school was once a military academy where a cadet died during a hazing incident. His spirit is said to haunt the college TV station. The former radio station is believed to be haunted by the program director who died in the lobby in 1989 of a heart attack. In the mid 1990s, the radio station was relocated to the TV station building.
